• Beyoğlu – European Elegance & Modern Heritage
A curated walk along Istiklal Street, not as tourists but as conscious observers of its architecture: historic passages (Çiçek Passage, Atlas Passage), churches hidden between neoclassical facades, former European consulates, and Casa Botter — a recently restored architectural gem and one of the finest examples of Art Nouveau in Istanbul.
• Galata – Industrial Architecture
Walk through former banking buildings, Art Deco facades, and side streets filled with local designers’ workshops. Rooftop coffee break with views over the Golden Horn at a carefully selected terrace.
• Balat – Tradition, Minorities & Color
Explore the historic streets of Balat, the former Jewish and Greek Orthodox neighborhood. Colorful houses, iconic stairways, vintage shops, and artisan workshops create a unique atmosphere. Visit the Greek Orthodox College (Fener Greek High School), the impressive red-brick landmark visible from across the hill.
Lunch – Free time, a reinterpretation of traditional Turkish cuisine (optional), or a more homemade local dining experience (optional).
